Sylvia Gebhart

Sylvia Gebhart is a co-owner of Hair Color Guru and also holds the posts of Vice President and Chief Mentor at Guru Village. Her specialties are texture work, design, and smoothing treatments. Her working life in the industry spans more than thirty years, and it began in Chicago, Illinois. Her training came at the Mario Tricoci Institute in Elmhurst, Illinois, and she holds licenses in both cosmetology and barbering. For more than 23 years she was an artist at Redken 5th Avenue, where she was among the original members of its creative design team. She has presented at the Redken International Symposium on more than ten occasions and has taught classes in Asia and South America. Her client book stays full.
