Sybile Val

Sybile Val is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Val Plastic Surgery in Atlanta. She holds an MD and is board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Her training began with a bachelor's degree in biology from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, followed by medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed a general surgery residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, and then a three-year plastic and reconstructive surgery program at LSU in New Orleans, Louisiana. During that program she received microsurgical training in trauma and breast reconstruction at several hospitals, including University Hospital, formerly Charity Hospital. She trained with New Orleans surgeons who helped develop the DIEP flap for breast reconstruction.

She has performed more than 200 microvascular breast and trauma reconstructions and has presented on breast reconstruction at national and international meetings. She has also taken part in fat grafting research and presented on it at national meetings. Her work centers on body contouring, fat grafting, breast rejuvenation and reconstruction, and injectables. She has experience in laser hair removal and miraDry treatments. Outside surgery, she likes giving filler and neurotoxin injections and educating patients on skincare. Many Atlanta-area women have sought her help to improve their appearance through cosmetic and plastic surgery.
