Susan J. Bushelman M.D.

Susan J. Bushelman, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist who leads the team at Derm Aesthetics. She handles injectable neurotoxins, dermal fillers and a range of laser techniques, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her early work was as a phlebotomist and lab technician at a local hospital while she studied at Northern Kentucky University. Her first full position was at Trover Clinic, a multi-specialty clinic in Madisonville, Kentucky, where she first became familiar with medical aesthetics. She joined Dermatology Associates of Northern Kentucky in 2003 after four years at Trover and remains affiliated with that practice. She has more than 20 years of experience. She has served on the Northern Kentucky Medical Society board, as Program Chair and as Past President, and was formerly president of the NKMS Foundation. Her training includes study at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, an internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky, a residency at the University of New Mexico and a doctorate from the University of Kentucky. She aims to offer high-level cosmetic work that leaves clients feeling more polished and self-assured.
