Sumayyah

Sumayyah is the Master Stylist at Sumi Hair Studio and has over 15 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry. She has taught other stylists and clients about hair techniques, beauty and fashion over the course of her career.

She is certified in hair extensions, including wefts, keratin bonds, micro links, beaded hand-tied installations and tape-ins. She has also trained in several smoothing systems, among them Brazilian Blow Out and Keratherapy, and in relaxer systems from Mizani, Kera Care and Design Essentials.

Her color work includes balayage, ombre and blonding, along with basic color, color correction, color melting and highlighting. She also does precision cutting for both women and men. She keeps up her education to stay current with new styles and techniques, and she learns any technique she has not yet performed until she has mastered it. Clients can expect a focus on proper hair care and customized looks that they feel confident in.
