Stevie Smith

Stevie Smith is a Master Colorist and Stylist who works in both color and cut, with styles that range from classic to avant-garde. She trained for nine years with stylists in Atlanta, working with a varied clientele. She moved to Chicago in 1994 and after that worked as a stylist, art director and educator.

In Chicago she developed curriculum for in-house apprenticeship programs at some of the city's top salons and has taught Advanced CE classes for Illinois cosmetologists. She has taken workshops with Wella, Aveda, Toni & Guy, Bumble and Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, ZGAT and Sharon Blain. She is a Certified Wella Master Expert and an educator for the Wella Design Team.

Her work has been featured in Allure, Elle, Chicago Bride, Martha Stewart Weddings, Estetica and Beauty Launchpad. She has styled actors, dancers and models at NYFW, the Cannes Film Festival, the Academy Awards and on fashion and editorial shoots, and she also works as a photographer.
