About
Steven is the salon and shop owner. He began his client service career in 1991 as a barber and has owned a salon and shop since 1994. He moved into hair styling in 2005, and he travels the country as a Specialist Educator with Design Essentials. He also co-created Gateway to Diversity with Carvonne White.
He trained at Vidal Sassoon Advanced Trainings in Los Angeles and at the Vidal Sassoon Cutting School in London, and he has trained with Freddie J, Patrick Bradley and Donnal Chung. His work centers on strengthening and promoting strong, healthy, natural hair, and he styles across classic and visually dynamic looks. He fine-tunes color and haircuts to each client's personality and lifestyle. He has worked with clients including Nelly and Chingy.
