Steven Giannetta is the Lead Medical Esthetician at Elle Salon & MedSpa in Reading, Massachusetts, where he has more than 25 years of experience as a medical esthetician. He holds a Massachusetts license as a medical esthetician. He trained at the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, studying esthetics and makeup artistry in 1983, and returned there in 1987 to complete reconstructive makeup for burn and scar patients. He received an Outstanding Teacher Award from Aesthetic Students in December 1989.
He has kept his training current through laser and skin-care education. He completed advanced laser training at the National Laser Institute in 2013 and medical microneedling training through Induction Therapies in 2014, and he holds Laser Safety Officer training. He attends the New York City Aesthetic Symposiums each year and continues to study laser technology, skin science and medical aesthetics.
His specialties include chemical peels, IPL photofacials, Laser Genesis skin rejuvenation, laser hair reduction, skin resurfacing, and treatments for rosacea, vascular concerns, hyperpigmentation, sun damage and aging skin. He works on acne, uneven texture, unwanted hair, redness and pigmentation, and offers collagen stimulation and customized medical-grade skincare. He is certified on AviClear acne treatment, the XEO+ laser platform, Laser Genesis vascular treatments, and truSculpt iD and truFlex body and muscle work. He also holds advanced Cutera certifications for Secret DUO RF Microneedling and 1540 Laser Resurfacing, dated 2026.
