Steven Bloch, MD

Steven Bloch, MD, serves as provider and medical director at Skin Deep Medical Spa. A board-certified plastic surgeon, he holds a medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. After an internship at Northwestern in Chicago, he trained in plastic and cosmetic surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he served as Chief Resident.

He has more than 40 years of work with patients in the Chicago area and more than 25 years in practice. He is a former president of the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgery and holds a faculty position at Chicago Medical School in North Chicago. He is named a Castle Connolly, U.S. News & World Report and Chicago Magazine Top Doctor, and he writes a monthly column for Sheridan Road and Forest & Bluff Magazine.

At Skin Deep, his clinical work covers cellulite treatment, PRP, CoolSculpting, Plasma Pen, laser hair removal and microneedling. His separate private practice, Body By Bloch, focuses on cosmetic surgery. He founded the spa around noninvasive and minimally invasive face and body treatments. He has appeared on television programs including the Oprah Winfrey Show, Discovery Health Channel, CBS, NBC, WGN and Fox News Network.
