Steven Bloch

Steven Bloch, MD, founded Skin Deep Medical Spa, where he serves as provider and medical director. He also operates Body By Bloch, a private plastic surgery practice in Highland Park. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon and aesthetic medicine specialist who provides both surgical and noninvasive treatments. He is a former president of the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgery and holds a faculty position at Chicago Medical School in North Chicago.

He received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, followed by an internship at Northwestern in Chicago. His plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery residencies took place at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he was chief resident. He maintains his medical credentials through continuing education. He has more than 25 years in practice, more than 40 years treating patients in the Chicago area and over 30 years in cosmetic surgery.

His surgical procedures include breast surgery, tummy tucks, eyelid surgery, facelifts, neck lifts, and ultrasound- and radiofrequency-assisted liposuction. He also performs body contouring, skin tightening and cosmetic injectables. Before injectable treatments such as Juvederm Voluma XC, he assesses facial structure, treatment goals and an individual plan for each patient. For rhinoplasty, he uses Vectra 3D Imaging to produce a detailed rendering of expected results.

He is one of the most experienced aesthetic physicians on Chicago's North Shore and its leading expert on newer anti-aging procedures. He is named a Castle Connolly, U.S. News & World Report and Chicago Magazine Top Doctor, and he has been featured in Chicago Magazine's Top Doctors issue. He has appeared on television programs including the Oprah Winfrey Network, Discovery Health Channel, CBS, NBC, WGN and Fox News, and has been featured in Vogue and Allure. He writes a monthly article for Sheridan Road and Forest & Bluff Magazine.
