Steve Hightower

Steve Hightower owns the salon and works as its ambassador stylist. He started his professional career as a stylist in 1985, following an apprenticeship at a Buckhead salon. He did not attend cosmetology school and holds an art degree. He spent four years as a consultant at The Cloister in Sea Island, Georgia. He is lead stylist for the celebrity guests of the Four Seasons Hotel. His areas of focus are extensions, fine and thinning hair, and color. He created sculpt cutting, a technique that accounts for head shape, hair growth direction and hair texture. As a Platform Artist and National Educator for Mediceuticals, he has taught throughout the country. He was a featured stage artist at Intercoiffure in 2012, and in 2013 and 2014 he assisted Vivienne MacKinder, Intercoiffure's Artistic Director, at four Intercoiffure Ateliers. He has appeared on the television shows Married to Medicine and AMHQ. He was named Best Hair Extension Artist from 2022 to 2025 by The Atlantan and Jezebel and Best Hair Thinning Solutions by Best Self magazine, was awarded Best Hair Stylist by The Atlantan in 2015, and was named #1 Hairdresser in the Atlanta Consumer Choice Awards in 2003. He is one of the finest hairdressers in Atlanta.
