Stephanie Peng, MD

Stephanie Peng, MD, serves as the board-certified plastic surgeon at the Minnetonka office of SP Plastic Surgery. She has been board-certified since 2014, and she is affiliated with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Columbia University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery was completed at the University of Washington in Seattle. Alongside cosmetic work, she has broad training in microsurgical free flap methods, rebuilding after cancer and trauma, and hand surgery. Her best-known work includes breast reconstruction using the DIEP flap technique. She treats patients weighing surgery as well as non-surgical options such as fillers. Before suggesting a treatment, she takes time to learn each patient's cosmetic goals, and she stays current with new surgical tools and techniques.
