About
Based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Molden founded the Female Pelvic Health Center and serves there as Director of Medicine. She is a board-certified urogynecologist. She was previously Medical Director of the Robotics program at St. Mary Medical Center and performed the first urogynecologic surgeries using the daVinci robotic system at St. Luke's and St. Mary Medical Centers. She was also the first surgeon to perform robotic surgery at the Female Pelvic Health Center. According to the practice, she has performed more than 2,000 minimally invasive procedures.
She received her M.D. from the University of Virginia and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Abington Memorial Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. A three-year urogynecology fellowship at a training program in the Lehigh Valley followed. In July 2013 she became one of the first urogynecologists in the country to earn board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery from the American Board of Medical Specialties. She trained under Dr. David Matlock in Beverly Hills in female genital cosmetic surgery. The site says she is trained and certified in traditional MedSpa procedures, and she performs all injections at the center.
Her focus covers pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and bladder conditions such as painful bladder syndromes and dropped bladder, and robotic urogynecology surgery. She also treats female sexual dysfunction and intimate wellness concerns, including low libido, trouble with orgasm and hormone imbalance. Her cosmetic work includes vaginal rejuvenation and female genital procedures such as labiaplasty, perineoplasty and vaginoplasty. For hormone replacement therapy, she provides medically supervised, personalized care based on lab evaluation and symptom analysis, and the site places her among the most experienced HRT providers in Pennsylvania. She was a study investigator in a published multi-center Emsella urinary incontinence study. The site says she has been consistently named to the Philadelphia-area Top Doctors list, and the practice reports four consecutive years on Philadelphia Magazine's Top Doctors list. She has appeared on national television on female pelvic health, presented at national and international symposiums, published in medical journals, and serves as a proctor for an international list of surgeons. She also educates other physicians about new techniques.
She is a member of the American Urogynecology Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Gynecologic Surgeons, the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, the International Urogynecology Association and the American Medical Association, and she takes part in continuing education and research.
