Stephanie Miller is a hairstylist at Platinum Beauty Studio, where she offers personalized haircuts and color.

Before a cut or color, she learns what each client is after. New clients can book a longer first visit that covers hair history, likes, dislikes and goals. She works comfortably with clients who are new to salon jargon or still undecided, and she welcomes inspiration photos, even of looks a client wants to avoid.

She believes a haircut or color can be technically well done and still be wrong for the person wearing it, so the focus is on the right result for the individual. She won't promise anything hair can't realistically do; instead she lays out the options and agrees on a plan together.
