Stephanie Hynes

Stephanie Hynes is a Nurse Practitioner and injector at Candid Wellness and Aesthetics. She entered healthcare in 2006 as a Certified Nursing Assistant and now has 19 years of experience in the field. She moved up through Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse, working as a charge nurse in an emergency room and later as Director of an Intensive Care Unit. She finished the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Frontier Nursing University, which she started in 2014, and holds a master's degree. Her Certified Nurse Practitioner certification was granted by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her aesthetic training was a fellowship with the American Foundation for Aesthetic Medicine (AFFAM) in non-physician aesthetic medicine. Completing it meant working through a reading list, carrying out more than 100 patient treatments, observing surgeries with a case log, writing a research paper, sitting a final written exam and being assessed on competency by mentors. The surgeries she observed included rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lifts and facelifts. Her mentors were Dr. Danny Soares, a facial plastic surgeon who is double board certified in otolaryngology, and Larry Blevins, PA, a master injector and trainer. She co-authored a published paper on cosmetic filler-induced vascular occlusion presenting to emergency departments, and she passed a written exam covering aesthetic practice and patient safety. She works to make sure clients understand the treatment process and what it takes to reach the expected outcome, and she likes helping clients build confidence through both subtle and transformative treatments.
