About
Stephanie Adams founded Velatura Medical Aesthetics & Wellness and owns it. She holds an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse credential and is a licensed esthetician, with 14 years working as an esthetician. Her earlier spa work includes a stint at Exhale. She has practiced injectables for five years and runs the consultations at the practice. She performs every procedure done at Velatura herself, and remains involved from the first visit through follow-up. She also provides XERF treatments and oversees wellness care, which opens with a thorough consultation. Her view is that skin functions as an organ, and that healthy, resilient skin provides the base for any aesthetic work. Her training covers time with Arthur Swift, Benji Dhillon, Tom van Eijk and Dr. Zack Ally, hands-on anatomy study using cadavers, and overseas instruction under Julie Horne in Switzerland. She vetted and chose the professional skincare brands stocked at the practice, and can advise on how Danucera and Hydrinity fit into a daily routine.
