Stefani Kappel

Stefani Kappel is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon with over 15 years in medicine. She received her medical degree from UC Irvine, followed by a dermatology residency at UCLA. Further training came through a dermatologic surgery fellowship at UC Davis and a cosmetic dermatology fellowship at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Northern California. From 2010 to 2011 she practiced at the Dermatology Institute of Southern California.

Her injectable work covers neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport and Xeomin) and dermal fillers including Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, Sculptra, Restylane, Belotero and Radiesse. Lasers and energy-based devices are used to treat signs of sun-related skin aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, loose skin, brown spots and facial vessels. Minimally invasive body contouring is also offered. On the surgical side she performs Mohs micrographic surgery, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), excision of skin cancers, sclerotherapy, surgical repair of earlobes and removal of cosmetic tattoos.

Outside the clinic she trains physicians in injection technique across the United States and abroad, lectures at professional society meetings, has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and takes part in clinical trials and research.
