Stacy Mealin

Stacy Mealin founded OC Hair & Makeup. She is licensed in cosmetology and mostly works with brides and special-occasion clients. Her services span cut and color, extensions, and event hair and makeup. Clients have come to her from Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. Her training began with an apprentice program under James Albert at James Albert Cosmetology School in Newport Beach, CA, followed by several years working with him. She also trained in London at Vidal Sassoon, with extensive work in updos, haircutting, coloring and extensions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Communications and Dance from the University of Idaho. Early on, she worked as a casting assistant and hair stylist assistant on film and TV sets, and her work has been featured on TV Guide Channel, The Swan, Hell's Kitchen and Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. She has worked on red carpet events including the Emmys and Oscars in 2014. She moved to Laguna Beach to build her clientele.
