Sovay Reeder owns Salon Sovay, where she also works as a stylist. Before she became a hairstylist, she spent more than six years as a pharmaceutical representative. Her hair work began during her student years, when she styled hair for a movie set and for photo shoots. Her training includes the Academy at Austin, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, followed by a week of private one-on-one preceptorship with Beth Minardi in New York. Her first salon opened in January 2007, four months after she graduated from Paul Mitchell Academy. Reeder works only on long hair, from chin length and longer, and specializes in natural highlights with a sun-inspired look. New clients are accepted case by case.
