Sophie Howell

Sophie Howell owns Zap Electrology and works as its electrologist. She holds the L.E. credential and an active California state electrology practicing license, which she was awarded after passing the California Electrology Exam.

Her electrology training was an extended course at the Monterey Bay Institute of Electrology. Before electrology, she studied biological sciences at the University of Georgia and founded an earlier business making high-quality fandom collectibles.

Sophie specializes in blend electrolysis and also uses galvanic electrolysis and manual thermolysis. She offers gender-affirming electrolysis care and welcomes clients of all gender identities. She works on a set weekly schedule with pre-determined hours on each working day, and she helps clients choose between electrolysis and laser reduction based on their goals and circumstances.
