About
Sonya Manning owns and runs Revela Salon, where she also cuts and styles hair. Her hair career began in 2003, and she has moved through every role in the salon, up to Creative Director. Beyond the chair, she sits on the Global Hair Team for Aveda North America and trains hairdressers in cutting and styling as an Aveda Educator. Since 2005 she has worked NYC Fashion Week, and as part of the Aveda Global Hair Team she has styled runway shows in New York, London, Sydney and Hong Kong. She has also assisted on editorial shoots for Stella McCartney, Betsey Johnson and Christian Soriano. Press coverage includes The Knot, Improper Bostonian and Hair.
