Sonny D is the Artistic Director, founder and CEO of The Salon 1.0. He graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Orlando. Because of his travel schedule, he sees clients by reservation only. Haircuts start at $250.00 and haircolor starts at $350.00. He previously served on the Paul Mitchell Advanced Academy national team of trainers and the Paul Mitchell editorial team, where he created looks and editorial photo shoots in Los Angeles and Florida. He has won recognition as a top cutting specialist in a countrywide competition and has performed on stage alongside Paul Mitchell artists Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski, DJ Muldoon and Angus Mitchell. He has taught classes in Florida, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Hawaii on trends and business strategy for salons and stylists. He is one of the most sought-after educators in the country. He wrote Your First Year In The Beauty Industry and hosts the weekly #YFYI podcast. He believes education removes fear and helps people reach their potential.
