About
Sonia Castleberry founded Brides by Sonia Castleberry in 2011 and serves as its founder. She is a licensed cosmetologist and holds certifications in several areas of the beauty industry.
Her work as a beauty artist has covered television, film and fashion. Her work has appeared in publications in the United States and abroad, and she has contributed to broadcast networks, brands and feature films. She also helped pilot Kitchen Sink Beauty, an entrepreneurial academy for teen girls of color that is a subsidiary of Black Girls Cook, Inc.
She owns Body Language Spa Academy, an online training program for aspiring and working beauty artists, and teaches beauty enhancement classes at Brides by Sonia Castleberry and at Body Language Spa.
