Sindhu Thomas, MD is the founder and medical director of AURA Medspa. She founded the practice to combine her interests in medicine and aesthetics, and she leads the facial balancing treatments.

She trained at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where she earned her medical degree and completed both a residency and a fellowship. Her medical and aesthetic protocols focus on a natural aesthetic result, and she emphasizes keeping patients healthy rather than treating them once they become ill.

For facial balancing, she completes a full facial evaluation before recommending any product. She looks at the relationships between facial thirds and how features scale to one another, and she considers structural and muscular contributors before choosing products and placement. Treatment is often phased so patients can start with their highest priorities and add areas over time, and she tracks results across visits and adjusts protocols as facial anatomy changes.

She also reviews medical history and labs during the medical weight loss consultation and provides ongoing supervision and support throughout treatment.
