Sima Rafii

Sima Rafii founded the clinic and serves as its medical director. She holds an MSN and works as an ARNP. Her background in family medicine ended in 1997, when dermatologist Dr. Peter Cooperrider brought her into dermatology. Under his guidance she trained in medical and cosmetic dermatology and joined clinical trials for Botox before the drug received FDA approval. In 2001 she moved to Northwest Face & Body, where her work covered medical and cosmetic dermatology, including lasers, injectables and skin biopsies. Separately, she learned surgical removal of skin cancers, cysts and lipomas from dermatologist Dr. Julie Voss. She has advanced training in the liquid facelift approach, using injectable fillers, Botox and Dysport, and holds certifications in sclerotherapy and laser operation. Her practice has spanned dermatology, women's health and family practice since 1993. She has preceptored and mentored nurse practitioner students at the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University and Seattle University, and she is a designated University of Washington lecturer at national nurse practitioner dermatology conventions. She is listed as a provider at the Woodinville and Madison Park locations.
