Sima Rafii, MSN, ARNP

Sima Rafii, MSN, ARNP, founded Sima Medical & Cosmetic Clinic and serves as its medical director. She began practicing in 1993 across dermatology, women's health and family practice. She first practiced family medicine until 1997, when dermatologist Dr. Peter Cooperrider recruited her and she trained in medical and cosmetic dermatology. In 2001 she joined Northwest Face & Body, where she worked in medical and cosmetic dermatology, including lasers, injectables, skin biopsies and other procedures. Under dermatologist Dr. Julie Voss there, she learned surgical treatment for skin cancer, cysts, lipomas and other skin diseases. She also took part in clinical trials for Botox before it received FDA approval. She mentors nurse practitioner students as a preceptor at the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University and Seattle University, and she is a designated University of Washington lecturer at national nurse practitioner dermatology conventions. She belongs to several nurse practitioner and dermatology professional groups.
