About
Shyloh Cooper owns the studio and works there as its hairdresser. She opened her own salon eight years ago. Her early career included local film and media projects, and her hair design has appeared in magazines and other publications. She received the Hairstylist of the Year award at the 2012 OKC rAWARDs. Locally, she was the earliest to bring plant-based color into professional use, and others often seek her advice on it. Her signature service, the Conscious Cut, is a dry cut shaped around the way each client's hair naturally falls. She personally reviews Karma Cuts applications, weighing need, availability and fit, and she cuts hair at Mutual Aid events held throughout the year. Her cutting training includes Head Shape Matters, Deva and Cut It Kinky. She also holds certificates in holistic nutrition, herbalism and sustainability.
