Shruti

Shruti is the founder and owner of Shruti's Beauty, and works as a bridal hair and makeup artist. She has helped bridal clients in the DMV area since 2003 and has helped hundreds of brides and bridal parties. She has been named a Couple's Choice Award winner for bridal hair and makeup in several years, including 2022 through 2025, and has won awards in hairstyle, makeup and mehndi contests. Clients have named her top reviewed on Google and Facebook.

Her training includes makeup artistry certified by Aveda, and earlier roles as a spa technician at an Aveda salon and a hair designer at a J.C. Penney salon. She is a state board certified licensed cosmetologist and a state board certified licensed master esthetician, and holds an advanced diploma certified in skin, hair and makeup. She is also a certified waxing specialist through Satin Smooth and a LISCIO certified Japanese hair straightening expert, with extensive training in working with color-treated hair.

Her main focus is Japanese permanent hair straightening, also called rebonding, along with keratin smoothing and bridal makeup and hair. She has helped many clients with frizzy or wavy hair and offers facials and skin treatments as a master esthetician.
