About
Shirley Cheng owns and founded Nail Plate Studio and works as an editorial and celebrity manicurist. Before opening the studio she worked in several well-known New York City salons, and she has worked as a manicurist for Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and Women's Health. She has also been an educator for ORLY and Swarovski.
Her work includes backstage work at New York Fashion Week, and her manicures have appeared on the red carpet at the Met Gala and in film and television. She is represented by See Management. She specializes in sculpted nail extensions made with forms. She is not a podiatrist.
