Sheryl Feingold, MD

Sheryl Feingold, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at North Point Dermatology & Mohs Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She has practiced for over 27 years and has been an attending physician in the Division of Dermatology at NYU Langone Long Island Hospital for the same length of time. Her seven-year combined B.A./M.D. program at Brooklyn College ended in 1989 with a summa cum laude degree and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She went on to SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University College of Medicine, where she received her medical degree magna cum laude in 1993 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. An internship in internal medicine took place at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital, and her dermatology residency was completed at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center, including training at the Northport VA Medical Center. She is the immediate past president of the Long Island Dermatological Society. Over eight years on its executive board, she helped plan and preside over its conferences, and she remains an active member.
