Sherry Spellers

Sherry Spellers is the owner of Amour Salon, which she launched in 1998 after gaining experience at several other salons. She trained at Pivot Point's cosmetology program in 1989, and she has held a cosmetology license for more than two decades. She has entered hair competitions and has also produced, modeled in and performed in hair shows held in Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Florida and California. Publications including the Chicago Defender and Black Hair Sophisticates have profiled her, as have Chicago-Salon and Salon Sense. Reviewers describe her as knowledgeable about natural hair.
