Sherri Latae

Sherri Latae leads Sherri Latae's Salon Couture as chief executive and also works behind the chair as a stylist and colorist. With roughly 30 years in hair care, she has been developing the CoutureLife brand since 1993. Her training includes a mentorship under Kim Kimble and ongoing courses offered by Dudley University, Farouk Systems and Dani Johnson. Her main areas are hair extensions and custom color. She is especially known for Bougie Blonde color on black hair. Full-page advertisements featuring her have run in Black Passion, Coiffure, Style Q, National Solid Gold and Sophisticate's Black Hair Styles and Care Guide, and her custom color work has been covered by hair care magazines, billboards and newspapers. She has also styled for hair shows, television and fashion shows, hair competitions and charity events. Her work is aimed at serving women in her community.
