Shelby Anderson

Shelby Anderson is a Master Stylist and the founder of Volume 13 Salon. She began a high school beauty program a year early, then trained at NINE ZERO ONE salon in West Hollywood, California, under Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee. Further study includes classes with Justin Anderson and Tracey Cunningham. In 2014, she was one of ten people chosen nationwide for a Vidal Sassoon training that included an advanced haircutting session in Santa Monica. Her specialties are balayage, sun-kissed natural-looking color, long layered cuts on dry hair, and blended hair extensions. She is a certified Beauty Coach and a Bellami Hair Ambassador for extensions. She was accepted into the Wella Passionistas program in 2018. She won the TrendVision People's Choice award for hair coloring in New York City in 2017, and DC Magazine named her DC's Best Of 2022. She has been featured in a range of regional, trade and industry publications, including DC Magazine and The Washingtonian. Clients travel to her from Washington, D.C. and other parts of the country for her signature looks, and her clients have included politicians, influencers, models and media personalities.
