Shauna LeMay

Shauna LeMay founded the studio and serves as its lead artist and photographer. She started her career in the hair salon industry in 2004, where she was introduced to professional makeup artistry.

She went on to work as a makeup artist and hair stylist for filmmakers and photographers, developing cosmetology skills on film and photography projects. She has worked on three full-length feature films, one of which aired on television, and on a number of short films. She has also worked with various photographers, models and bands, leading projects as lead makeup artist. She began taking photographs and worked with model and photography figures in New England, and directed personal projects including four Looks That Kill calendars, leading the concepts, hairstyling, makeup and photography.

She works with photography clients on concepts and prefers natural light, though she can set up a small studio anywhere. For weddings she works exclusively with the bride and requires a trial well in advance for hairstyle and makeup.
