Shara Wesson

Shara Wesson is the founder of Skin By Shara Aesthetics and a licensed medical esthetician. She began working in the beauty industry at 18 and became a licensed esthetician at 21. Earlier in her career she worked as a professional makeup artist with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Laura Mercier. Her clinical training is under dermatologists and physicians, and she worked under dermatologists before opening her practice, gaining experience with complex skin conditions. She operates under medical delegation with active physician oversight. She treats acne, hyperpigmentation, aging and inflammation, plus compromised skin barriers, and she is known for her knowledge of skin care science, ingredients and customizing chemical peels. Her signature treatment is the Red Carpet Facial. She also provides SkinPen microneedling, assessing each client in a one-on-one consultation before recommending it. Cosmelan Peel MD and customized chemical peels are also part of her work, with each peel tailored to the client's needs. She has helped clients in the United States, Asia, Africa and Europe through virtual skin consultations and programs.
