Shannon Elaine

Shannon Elaine is the owner stylist at Shannon's Hair Designs in Cincinnati. She graduated from Marinello's School of Hair Design in 1981 and started her career at Cincinnati Hair Design on Hyde Park Square in 1982.

She moved through the ranks there, eventually becoming an assistant manager responsible for training new stylists. She later worked as a stylist in Texas and was promoted to assistant manager for Edie Adams Cut and Curl. She was then offered a franchise in Fairfield in 1984 and ran it for eight years.

She became an independent stylist in Hyde Park in fall 1992 and has since worked at Ty's Hyde Park Salon, Jennifer's Hair Salon on the Square, Total Eclipse Salon on Mount Lookout Square, and Salon Concepts in Oakley, where she became an independent salon owner in October 2011. Her work spans cuts, perms, color and extensions, and she specializes in Fusion and I Tip extension methods. Most of her clients come in with hair concerns such as hair loss or thin hair, and she welcomes new clients.
