Shannon Berg

Shannon Berg, a master hairstylist, colorist and lash artist, runs Eye Candy Studio in Woodbury, Minnesota. Licensed as a hairstylist and makeup artist for more than 37 years, she started out at Regis in West St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1988. In 1990 she trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California, then worked at The End, a concept salon run under the Sassoon name in that city. In 1993 she became one of four partners in Tanggles Hair Design. She also worked at Makeup Studio in Minneapolis's Warehouse District alongside media makeup artist Christopher Baglien, and she trained in media makeup at the Award Studio. While in California she also worked with celebrity photographer Michael Edwards. She moved back to Minnesota in 1998 to work as an independent stylist at WestSide Haircare, and in 2014 she opened Eye Candy Studio at Sola Salons Woodbury Lakes. She is a certified Novalash eyelash artist and earned an advanced degree from Novalash in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2010. She began Russian volume lash training through Skynlash Academy in 2016, completed a volume lash course with Frankie Widdows in 2017, and in 2019 earned Mega Volume certification in London Volume with Novalash. More recently she completed a mega volume course with Eyelash Excellence.
