Shak owns Hair Shak Salon Miami, where he also works as a stylist, and he brings 26 years of experience to the chair. His clientele has included people staying at One Hotel South Beach, W South Beach and St. Regis Bal Harbour. Hand-painted color and balayage make up most of his work, alongside color correction, highlights and haircuts. He also fits and cuts hair extensions and does men's haircuts, buzzcuts and beard trims, shaping men's cuts around how hair grows and how the client wears it day to day. For hair damaged by bleach, sun or saltwater, he offers the FUYA protein hair repair treatment. Before anything is booked, he reviews each client's hair and its history in a free consultation, then recommends the treatment the hair needs. He is the only stylist at the salon who cuts hair, and he takes each service from start to finish.
