Shaili Gal, MD

Shaili Gal, MD, owns Peoria Cosmetic Surgery, where she serves as medical director. She is also medical director of Gal Aesthetics, which offers select nonsurgical aesthetic treatments. She took over ownership of the practice in July 2023. Her work centers on aesthetic surgery of the breast, body, and face. She performs all surgical and laser procedures, along with dermal filler and neurotoxin injections, and handles every consultation herself. Her medical degree is from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. She completed general surgery training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and plastic surgery training at UC Davis Medical Center, then an accredited fellowship in aesthetic plastic surgery covering the breast, body, and face. She holds board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and from the American Board of Surgery in general surgery, and she is double-boarded. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Much of her caseload is breast and body surgery, including breast revision, Lipo 360, fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty, body contouring after weight loss, and gynecomastia correction. She also performs upper eyelid surgery, temporal or lateral brow lifts, and lip lifts, and gives Dysport injections at the practice. In consultation she evaluates each patient's needs and goals before building a customized plan, and she checks medical suitability before any cosmetic surgery, sometimes coordinating with the patient's primary care physician. Patients receive photos taken at least three months after surgery, and she personally follows surgical patients through recovery.
