Seth Alan

Seth Alan works as an International Hair Artist and Educator at YRK Chicago, splitting his time between Chicago and Mexico City. Beauty school came first, followed by a move to Miami, where he worked at Sassoon under Susie Kim and Martyn Duff and helped run haircutting classes, an early step into teaching. He later settled in New York and worked with Ezel Mustafa, Tim Rogers and Sally Hershberger. His projects range across fashion, editorial, entertainment, music and commercial work. Names he has worked with on brand and client projects include Annie Leibovitz, Amazon, Barneys New York, Polo Ralph Lauren, David Arquette, Ashley Greene, Justin Long, Denzel Curry and Margo Price. He aims for a balance between precise, intentional shape and softer silhouettes with natural movement. Men's haircuts are $150, women's haircuts are $225, and blowouts start at $100.
