About
Scott Tomlinson owns HUM hair design and works as its haircut stylist. He has been licensed since 2005, and he opened HUM hair design in 2018 after nine years at VAIN in Seattle.
His training started with an apprenticeship under Antonio Santiago at Salon Santiago in Ft. Lauderdale, where he worked for four years. He has since taken continuing education with educators from Toni&Guy, Bumble and bumble, Vidal Sassoon and ZGAT, among others, and has received numerous certifications.
He works with any hair type and focuses on haircuts. Clients can book a free consultation to talk through the look they want or hear his ideas first. Away from the salon, he takes classes or teaches them, and he keeps refining his skills as trends shift.
