Scott Smith, M.D.

Scott Smith, M.D. is a facial plastic surgeon at Smith Facial Plastics and holds dual board certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. From 2018 to 2019 he was a fellow in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Buckingham Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in Austin, Texas, training under Dr. Edward Buckingham. He earned his medical doctorate cum laude at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, then completed an internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Ohio State from 2013 to 2018, serving as administrative chief resident in the Department of Otolaryngology in 2017 and 2018. Earlier, he received a bachelor of arts with high distinction in Studio Art and Biology from the University of Virginia. He later returned to Columbus to practice alongside his brother. His areas of focus include sub-SMAS facelift surgery, facial fat grafting, comprehensive nasal surgery, otoplasty, upper and lower eyelid surgery, skin cancer reconstruction and hair restoration.
