Scott Farber MD

Scott Farber, MD, serves as surgeon, president and CEO of Farber Plastic Surgery, where he leads cosmetic and reconstructive work. He is board certified in plastic surgery, holds a Diplomate from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Beyond his own patients, he teaches aesthetic and reconstructive techniques to other surgeons and runs the EZ-Stitch Program for laceration repair. Training began with an undergraduate degree from Tufts University. He graduated from The George Washington University medical school in 2003 with academic distinction. General and plastic surgery training took place at Michigan State University, where he was chief resident. A year at NYU's Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital followed, focused on refining cosmetic surgery skills, and then a fellowship in aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body. He trained under Dr. Sherrell Aston, Dr. Daniel Baker and Dr. Alan Matarasso. His practice covers breast enhancement, including augmentation, lift, reduction and revision, along with body contouring such as tummy tuck, liposuction, Brazilian butt lift and body lift. Facial work includes facelift, eyelid surgery, brow lift and neck lift. Signature procedures include breast lift with implants, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and mommy makeover. He is certified in Total Definer liposculpture, a high-definition method developed by Dr. Alfredo Hoyos, and performs inverted nipple repair in the office. Non-surgical options he offers include injectables, medical skincare, CoolSculpting, laser skin resurfacing and liquid facelift. He also takes on revision cases for patients who had surgery with other surgeons, and he has performed cleft lip and palate repair in the Dominican Republic. He oversees each procedure from start to finish alongside the team. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
