Scott Denny

Scott Denny has more than 40 years of clinical experience in acupuncture, oriental medicine, herbs and functional medicine. He has lectured nationally and internationally on spinal decompression, acupuncture for pain management and biopuncture. Among his developments are the Antalgic-Trak spinal decompression system and Kinetic Decompression Mobilization (KDM), which he co-founded and co-developed. He was a founding member and former director of the Laser Pain Management Association and a founding trustee of the University of Integrated Studies. Past roles include membership on the AAPM Board of Directors and Board of Advisors, plus several committees within those bodies. He served on the editorial advisory board of the textbook Pain Management: A Practical Guide for Clinicians. Earlier, he led acupuncture services at Holy Cross Hospital's Feldman Center for Optimal Health and taught at New York Chiropractic College. He once served as a clinical research fellow at the Institute of Pain Management, where he contributed data to the National Pain Data Bank. In 2007 the Zachariah Family Wellness Pavilion at Holy Cross Hospital gave him its Outstanding Acupuncture Associate Award. The Continuing Education Excellence Award in Pain Management has gone to him eleven times.
