Sarai owns Sarai By Day, a luxury bridal hair and makeup business, and works in both hair and makeup. She has more than 20 years in the beauty industry and is represented by Anchor Artists, a Boston agency. She specializes in updos and hairstyling, and she works on European destination weddings. Her training includes Make Up Forever in Manhattan, Blaine Beauty Schools in Boston and LaSalle College Institute of Fashion Design in Montreal. Beyond bridal, she does editorial and commercial styling, including runway work. Her runway credits include New York Fashion Week in 2019, Paris Fashion Week in 2019, Miami Swim Week in 2022 and London Fashion Week in 2023, and she has been showcased at Milan Fashion Week too. She also worked on hair for the Galia Lahav show at Bridal Fashion Week 2026, and she has worked alongside stylists such as Ted Gibson, Jason Backe, Aubrey Loots, Gary Barker, Mark Wholley and Brendan O'Sullivan. Her clients have included celebrities and public figures such as Shohei Ohtani, Willie Geist, Dana Walden, Tyson Beckford and Suzi Welch. Her work has appeared in Glam Hair, The New Yorker, Northshore Magazine, Boston Common Magazine, Brides, The Knot, Marie Claire, Allure, Today, Glamour and Essence. She won the Queen of Texture award in Boston Common Magazine's Best of Beauty Awards, and she has also won several other awards, including a Readers' Choice award. Her specialties are updos, hairstyling, luxury bridal work and European destination weddings, and she also works on weddings, prom and other formal events.
