Sarah Yagerman

Sarah Yagerman is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon at the Upper West Side office of Upper West Side Dermatology. She holds double board certification in dermatology and Mohs surgery and offers medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology across New York City. Dermatologic oncology is a special interest, and in Mohs surgery she aims to remove cancer while preserving healthy tissue. She uses lasers for photoaging, resurfacing, acne and redness, and she has been trained extensively in injectable fillers, including Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse and Sculptra, as well as neuromodulators for wrinkle relaxation. She earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College, graduating with Honors in Service. She then completed an internal medicine internship year at NYU Langone Health and a three-year dermatology residency at NYU's Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, where she was chief resident in the final year. She also spent a year on dermatologic oncology research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her Mohs training was an ACGME-accredited fellowship at Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists in NY and NJ, covering Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. She directs dermatologic surgery at Woodhull Hospital, where she teaches residents, and she has returned to the NYU faculty. She started the first Mohs surgery department in NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. She has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in cosmetic and dermatologic surgery.
