About
Sarah Wilson, MD, serves as Medical Director of Carroll Cosmetic Club and owns Dermatology Specialists of West Georgia, P.C. She is a board-certified dermatologist, with dual board certification from the American Board of Dermatology in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery. She sees patients at the Carrollton, Newnan and Peachtree City offices and performs Mohs surgery in Peachtree City and Newnan. She holds an undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech with Highest Honors and studied at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, finishing in the top 10 percent of her class and being elected to the AOA honor society. She completed a dermatology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, where she was chief resident. She then trained at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, completing a Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship and a cosmetic dermatologic surgery fellowship. During those Northwestern fellowships she trained under Dr. Murad Alam, who was president of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her Mohs practice includes more than 3,000 completed surgical cases. She has authored eight peer-reviewed works and textbook chapters on cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer, dermatologic surgery and patient quality of life.
