Sarah Gozzo (McMahon) owns North Beach Massage Therapy, which operates inside Onari Esthetics. She graduated from Desert Institute for Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona, and is a Master Bodyworker. She owned a massage practice in Tucson for six years before building a practice in Boston's Back Bay. Boston Magazine named her Boston's Best Massage Therapist in 2008. Across 26 years of training, she has added sports massage, Active Release Technique, myofascial release, CranioSacral therapy, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage and lymphatic drainage. She has taken part in training programs for professional athletes such as triathletes, cyclists, runners and bodybuilders, and works with chiropractors and physical therapists on recovery for clients dealing with repetitive strain, persistent discomfort and injury. Each client receives a treatment plan. Sixty-minute therapeutic massage is $130 and 90-minute therapeutic massage is $160, with sports massage, Active Release Technique, myofascial release, trigger point, CranioSacral therapy and lymphatic drainage offered at the same prices. Appointments are generally available Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
