Sara Sorensen

Sara Sorensen serves as Medical Director and owner of Artistic Eye Aesthetics, a practice she founded. Her credentials are DNP, CNP and CANS, and she is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also holds the Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist certification from the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses.

Sara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She later completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with a focus on adult-gerontology. She keeps her training current through ongoing study, webinars and industry conferences.

She has close to twenty years of healthcare experience. Thirteen of those years were spent as an ICU nurse at the Mayo Clinic. She then worked for five years across two high-volume aesthetic practices before establishing her own. Her preferred treatments include PlasmaSculpt, Sculptra, platelet rich fibrin, and neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport.
