Sara Pinckney

Sara Pinckney serves as team leader at MBS Salon, where she also works as a lived-in color specialist, stylist, extension master, educator, business coach and transformation specialist. She started in hair and beauty in 2009, training at the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, and then took an advanced program at The Joe Hamer Salon and became a master cutting and color specialist. Earlier she spent six years at Miller and Mane Salon in Mill Valley, helping build its education program, before opening Manes by Sara in downtown Mill Valley in 2020. Over five years she was on the Goldwell Artist Team, and she is a certified Goldwell Master Colorist. She has more than eight years of experience installing Great Lengths extensions and is a certified extension expert. Her known strengths are lived-in blondes, dimensional color, textured cuts and seamless extensions, and clients travel to her from Mill Valley, across Marin County and the wider Bay Area.
