Sara Jane Booth

Sara Jane Booth founded Bassia Bassia after working at well-known downtown salons. She works in New York City and Los Angeles and specializes in color, with close attention to matching shades.

Her training is in design management with a focus on small business, plus a minor in painting, from an art school in Chicago. She learns about each client before choosing a look, which might be a nostalgic tone, a return to a childhood hair color or an otherworldly shade. Her clientele includes a loyal group of people from the art world.

Gloss starts at $100, single process at $200, partial highlight or balayage at $300, full highlight or balayage at $400, double process at $350, Olaplex or K-18 bonding treatment at $45 and post-color blow-out at $40.
